One address, read by a person. Bug reports are especially welcome.

Reporting a bug in a tool

These are the reports worth the most, because a tool that is confidently wrong is worse than no tool. If you can, include:

  • Which tool, and the URL.
  • The input you gave it — but only if you are comfortable sharing it. A reduced example that still misbehaves is better than a real payload, and it keeps your data yours.
  • What it produced, and what you expected instead.
  • Your browser and whether you were on a phone or a desktop.

Requesting a tool

Tell me what you are currently doing instead — which site you use, or which snippet you keep re-writing. That is more useful than the tool name, because it says what the tool actually has to get right.

Privacy questions and data requests

Use the same address. In practice there is very little to request: DevBox Tools stores no personal data on any server, because there is no server. What is collected, and how to withdraw consent, is set out in the privacy policy.

Accessibility

If something here does not work with a keyboard, a screen reader, or at your preferred zoom level, please say so and describe your setup. Accessibility problems are treated as bugs, not as enhancements.

Response time

This is a small site maintained by one person, so replies take days rather than hours. Bug reports get looked at first.
